How to get a butt like Kim Kardashian!

One of the most asked questions I get is “how can I grow my butt?” Well let’s just get one thing straight! Doing 1000 squats won’t cut it girls, also as much as I do love squats, they target more of your pins then your butt! Doesn’t mean we neglect our squats, but when growing your Kim K butt we want to focus on movement from the hips, and exercises that REALLY target the glutes.
Your glutes are the biggest muscle in your body, but they are also the laziest! Especially the glute medius (muscle on the side of your butt). So what tends to happen when we train our butt is other muscle groups surrounding your booty, (including your back), will take on the load and do all the work, whilst Mr Gluteus sits back and takes a chill pill.

So one of my favourite exercises to do at the start of a booty routine to fire them up and get them engaged, are Sumo Deadlifts. Not only does it target every muscle in your glutes, but it also tones your back and strengthens your core.

Then we begin to sculpt all the muscles around the glutes by throwing in some unilateral moves and hamstring exercises.

Then to top it all off I love throwing in some finishers at the end of my session with one of my favourite isolated butt burn outs, the infamous frog pumps! Just make sure you DON’T make any eye contact with anyone on the gym floor….
